Utilizing on-line sales tools such as Net32, Monster Marketplace, Amazon and its own shopping cart, http://www.BurCRI.com, Cut Rite instruments has made a huge presence in the dental market in 2010. "When we set forth our strategic goals for 2010, we knew we had to build a better awareness of our brand." said Matthew Hooper, Chairman of the Board leading the corporate oversight for the investment company that took an equity stake in CRI in 2009. "Cut Rite was looking market traction to lower cost off-shore competitors. Utilizing social media like Facebook, Twitter, email campaigns, blogging were all critical parts of our internet marketing strategies for search engine optimization. Cut Rite was the 40 year old Dental Instruments business no one had ever heard of, we needed to change that and change it quickly." said Hooper. Cut Rite has created a strong presence in the social media space. With hundreds of dentists as Facebook Friends and Twitter Followers, Cut Rite social strategies seem to be paying off. This year Cut Rite was able to acquire several domestic dealer relationships, and is negotiations with European and South American dealers, with many more inquiries coming in weekly. "Our family and employees are highly skilled engineers and production workers, but marketing and sales has always been a weak spot for us." Says Nicole Michael, President and daughter of Cut Rite Founder Klaus Schneider. "Building a sales and marketing presence was a major part of getting investors behind us. We knew we had a great product, the problem was getting the dental market to know about us. With this strong momentum in the market and greater awareness of our business and product lines, we are looking forward to strong growth and expansion in 2011."
